Founded by Freda Apomfo, Kaeme is a superior beauty and cosmetics company right from the heart of Africa, that continues to live up to its name literally. Named after the Akan phrase that means 'remember me,' or, 'forget me not,' Kaeme took the African subcontinent by storm from its founding and has shown no signs of slowing down.
Freda founded Kaeme with three things: a few jars, the skills, and passion for creating cream, which enriches the skin, and the desire to share her discoveries with others. So, she began to mix her ingredients to formulate creams for her friends and family.
With the perfect combination of Ghana's fine shea butter and ten years of experience, Freda was able to stir up shea butter creams that were light, pure, and awaken the users' senses while nurturing the skin. Freda decided to commercialize her unique formula, and that was when Kaeme was born. From hand-crafted natural ingredients to essential oils and experienced makers, Kaeme uses a perfect combination of all necessities to create raw shea butter and black soap products for Black skin’s beauty.
