"We'll cross the river when we get there," Sandi’s father use to say when she was growing up.
As a child, she believed that this saying was encouraging procrastination. Since she started her business, she realized that it's the best approach to overcome obstacles by not worrying about them but trusting you'll surely overcome them.
Talensi is the name of a town Sandi found herself in when she got lost on the way to Bolgatanga in the Northern part of Ghana. She stayed for the night and felt welcomed by the town's people. The next day, she continued her journey with renewed energy and commitment.
For Talensi, fashion can be ethical in an unexpected way. The brand has collaborated with local artists and producers, well-founded in Ghanaian art and culture, and passionate about giving their audience the tool they need to stand out among the crowd.
